Process Engineer III

The Process Engineer 3 (PE3) independently executes process engineering activities for FQT's technologies. This role encompasses managing engineering tasks from project conception through detailed engineering, commissioning, system start-up, and plant optimization.

Requirements

• Initiates and develops long-term client partnerships
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of FQT departments and leverages them to deliver excellence
• Prepares Design Base Engineering Reports and client presentations
• Leads client presentations of engineering deliverables
• Independently sizes equipment, piping, instrumentation, and valves
• Prepares Engineering Deliverables
• Accurately prepares process control philosophies and functional descriptions
• Precisely performs process calculations and modeling in Excel and ChemCAD
• Develops plant trials and incorporates findings into engineering deliverables
• Demonstrates the ability to lead while participating in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP)
• Manages cost estimation and budgeting for engineering tasks with accuracy
• Independently manages deliverable timelines, ensuring adherence to project schedules
