We are seeking a Counselor, Licensure Candidate or Therapist to serve as a mental health professional in our schools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families and be able to provide counseling services in a school environment.
Requirements
- Counselor Level: High School Diploma with 4000 hours of working with children and families, or Bachelor's degree with 2000 hours of working with children and families, or Bachelor's degree in behavioral health with practicum or internship experience, or Master's degree in human services related field.
- Licensure Candidate: Completed master's degree and working toward licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).
- Licensed Therapist: Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).
- Experience working with children and families experiencing mental health issues in a direct care role.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques and theories, including behavior modifications, child development education, communication, decision-making skills, anger management, social skills, leisure, self-esteem, and basic home budgeting.
