Job Description
Grassroots Carbon is seeking a hands-on Controller to join their finance leadership team. This role will be central to their transformation into a category-defining leader in carbon markets, ensuring a strong accounting foundation and supporting data-driven decision-making. The position involves overseeing the accounting function, financial planning & analysis, and leadership of a team. They partner with various organizations to implement regenerative practices and build carbon credit flows.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
- CPA designation
- Understanding of ASC 330 or accounting for environmental credits
- Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks) and familiarity with Salesforce integrations
- Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
