Job Description
Graphcore is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Collectives Team, focused on developing their Collective Communication Library. This library will enable users to leverage large computing clusters for AI hardware. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, and working with Agile development processes in a Scrum team.
Requirements
- Experience in software development using C++ programming language
- Experience with Python and C programming
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex issues
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Boost.Test and Google Test
- Experience with build tools such as CMake, Make and Ninja
- Strong understanding of version control systems (preferred Git)
- Experience with RDMA networking libraries (for example libibverbs, libfabric)
- Knowledge of multithreading and parallel computing concepts
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (for example GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of communication libraries (for example NCCL, MPI)
- Knowledge of modern C++ standards 17/20
