Job Description
The Inspector Class A is responsible for reading work instructions, interpreting blueprints, measuring, and inspecting parts to ensure conformity to specifications. This includes operating CMM’s, height gages, and comparators, and participating in quality projects. The role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Requirements
- Two-year certification from college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to manually operate and set up Mitutoyo CMM’s
- Ability to interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance
- Ability to work as a team player in a group or team environment and independently
- Must be flexible enough to work in all areas of operation
- A personal and professional background sufficient to secure a Government Security Clearance
