Job Description
Granite State Manufacturing (GSM) is seeking an experienced Class A CNC Lathe Operator for their precision machining team. This role involves operating advanced turning equipment, independently setting up and programming CNC machinery, and ensuring high quality and on-time delivery to support U.S. Navy submarine programs and other defense platforms. The position requires collaboration with Planning and Supervision and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe experience
- Proficient with Fanuc, Okuma OSP, or ProtoTRAK controls
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques
- Experience machining large and complex components from various materials
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery goals.
