Job Description
Grace Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians. The role involves greeting patients, taking vital signs, documenting patient history, preparing for procedures, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Knowledge of vaccines and injectable medications is also required.
Requirements
- Greeting and escorting patients to the examination room
- Taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and pulse oximetry)
- Documenting patient history and updating records
- Preparing patients for exams and assisting physicians with procedures
- Making sure appropriate lab/other data is in chart at time of visit
