GovCIO is hiring a Senior Network Architect/SME in Enterprise Facilities Security and Industrial Control Systems Networks for our NIH-CIT proposal. This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position. The SME role's responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level facilities security and industrial control systems networks, and leading the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams.
Requirements
- Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog
- Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams
- Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level facilities security
- Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level industrial control systems networks (i.e., Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks)
- Strategically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with NIH future state architecture objectives
- Software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
- Team with the Security Section to achieve security architecture requirements
- Maintain technical architecture documentation
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Change management
- Support resources responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
