Software Engineer, Storage Everywhere, Google Cloud

Software engineers at Google Cloud develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The team is responsible for delivering a scalable and performant storage solution for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Connected, enabling customers to run their most demanding stateful applications, including AI and Gemini workloads, at the edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
• Experience in back-end software development
• Experience coding in one of the following: Golang, C++, Java, or Python
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
• Experience working with storage, data protection, or disaster recovery
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes
