Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Modernization, Professional Services

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work with customers on application re-design and implementation, providing consulting, program management, and technical expertise to drive the adoption of modern applications and cloud-native products on Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and system design
• Experience with architecting, developing, and maintaining technical solutions by leveraging virtual machines, containers, serverless computing, or software defined networking
• Experience working in a cloud computing environment
• Experience in containerizing applications and migrating them to the public cloud
• Experience with customer-facing migrations, service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations
• Experience reading software code in one or more languages
• Experience in systems design, architecting or explaining system interactions, data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and available methods
• Familiarity with Google Cloud infrastructure components, cloud service models, and cloud-native architectures
