Job Description
Glovo is a rapidly growing multi-category app connecting millions of users with businesses and couriers in over 1500 cities across 25 countries. They are seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to contribute to the development of their iOS platform, focusing on user acquisition, order dispatching, payments, and maintaining their app to the latest standards. The role involves mentorship, leading initiatives, and ensuring a scalable and well-documented codebase.
Requirements
- An empathic, inclusive, and curious attitude
- Computer Science or similar degree
- 7+ years of relevant full-time experience
- Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK and Apple’s ecosystem
- Understanding of reactive programming (e.g., ReactiveKit, ReactiveCocoa)
- Deep understanding of Auto Layout and SwiftUI
- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture, algorithms, optimization, automation, scalability, etc.)
- Attention to detail and great communication skills
- Ability to write good automated tests
