Working Student for Application Engineering

We are seeking an engaged and fast-learning working student in our GF EMEA application engineering team. The role involves developing demonstrator designs, automation of benchmarking sweeps, data collection and analysis automation, documentation and technical writing.

Requirements

• Studying electrical engineering, computer science or related fields
• Knowledge of digital VLSI design, understanding of digital design approaches, building blocks like logic cell libraries and memories, back-end digital design algorithms and software tools
• Intermediate skills in programming using languages like TCL, Python, PERL
• Hands-on UNIX operating system and basic shell commands
• Build automation ('make') knowledge
• Skills in data analysis using spreadsheets, ideally some Python based data analytics frameworks or PowerBI
• Documentation and technical writing skills in English
• Self-driven personality, autonomy in developing solutions and requesting mentor support
