Job Description
Archaeologist Crew Lead needs 3+ years experience in archaeology role, requiring a Bachelors degree in Anthropology or related field and completion of an accredited archaeological field school.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Anthropology or related field
- Completion of an accredited archaeological field school
- 3+ years experience in archaeology role
- Experience in CRM-based Phase I/II/III archaeological survey and/or excavation
- 1+ years experience leading archaeological field work to locate and identify sites
- Experience with GPS/Trimble navigation and data collection
- Knowledge of historic/prehistoric material culture and artifact processing
- Ability to navigate using compass and USGS topographic map
- Ability to set up and run a Total Station independently for site recording/mapping
- Archaeological reporting experience
