Job Description
As a ropes facilitator, you'll be responsible for the implementation and support of ropes programs at Girl Scouts of Colorado camps. This role involves ensuring high-caliber service for campers and staff, supporting the camp property and operations, and ensuring safety. The position focuses on leadership, supervision, and direct instruction of ropes activities.
Requirements
- Work with ropes programs
- Train campers on safety
- Manage administrative tasks
- Collaborate with other staff
- Maintain equipment
- Work 6-8 hours a day, 6-7 days per week, with flexibility for weekends and extended periods
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of college or equivalent experience
- Current or willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Universal Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, WFA/WFR certifications
- Personal skills for working with various individuals (handling, managing, communicating with differing moods)
- Willingness to live on-site and be on-call
