Job Description
Gilbane is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic General Superintendent to manage field operations on projects up to $100M. The role involves independent leadership, significant field work, and a key project team member role, offering opportunities for training and mentorship. Gilbane is a reputable construction management firm committed to safety, on-time project delivery, and building diverse and inclusive teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10-15 years of experience on $30-$100 million commercial/industrial construction project(s) or multiple projects in a lead superintendent role
- OSHA 30-hour certified
- STS-C Certification
- First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strong technical and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of construction plans and construction software
