Job Description
Gigamon is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, prototype, and implement innovative data path solutions for private and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver and a skilled communicator with a strong technical background.
Requirements
- Earned a BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent
- Significant industry experience (minimum years as specified by role level)
- Strong programming skills in C and C++
- Deep knowledge of network stacks and operating systems
- Experience with virtualized environments (VMs, containers, hypervisors)
- Experience with Linux/Unix platforms
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and networking protocols
