Technical Product Manager - IoT Devices

Giesecke+Devrient is a global company that provides security technologies for both the physical and digital worlds. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team in Barcelona to own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of an IoT device.

Requirements

• Define and manage product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for IoT devices
• Translate market and customer needs into technical specifications and features
• Prioritize development tasks in alignment with Engineering and Management
• Coordinate new developments with Lead Engineer and System Integration Engineer
• Support cross-product topics such as sensor technology and platform strategy
• Create and maintain product requirement documents (PRD, specifications)
• Evaluate technical concepts, design variants, and supplier solutions
• Oversee certification and testing activities (e.g., ATEX, EMC)
• Monitor product performance, field feedback, and quality metrics
• Drive product improvements and redesigns based on data and insights
• Act as a key interface to Sales, Marketing, and Operations for market readiness
