GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle general ledger management
- Experience in nonprofit, small business, or multi-entity environments preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (required); familiarity with Zoho Books or similar tools preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and present financial data clearly
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
