Senior Civil Designer

GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join a global network of skilled engineers, scientists, planners, and environmental specialists. The role involves preparing civil drawings, creating detailed models in 3D modelling environment, driving design phases, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of civil design and /drafting and modelling experience
• Proven record of site grading, site servicing, drainage and access road design using the civil 3D software
• Extensive experience with corridor and pipe network module in civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of Bentley software (Microstation, OpenRoads)
• Metrolinx and rail corridor modelling grading design and modelling experience is considered an asset.
• Experience with quality control (QA/QC) of models and drawings.
• Good understanding of level of effort required to complete the work.
• Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competency/expertise in BIM Collaboration tools e.g. (ProjectWise, BIM 360)
