Job Description
GHD is seeking a driven and experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join their expanding Northeast Fire Protection & Life Safety group. The role involves leading and managing projects, preparing scope of work, overseeing systems design, conducting code reviews, and providing technical advice to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional passionate about fire safety and business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection
- At least 2 years of industry experience with fire protection system design and/or code consulting
- Working knowledge of ICC codes and NFPA standards
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with diverse teams and client groups
