Job Description
Join our team and take a leap in your career! As an AVP Commercial Manager/Team Leader, you will be responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the commercial loan, business deposit, and cash management functions of your team. You will participate on the Gesa Leadership team and provide input on strategic initiatives. This role requires leadership, supervisory, and analytical skills, with a focus on growing a profitable commercial loan portfolio and maintaining compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Eight to ten years' similar or related experience
- Minimum three years managerial/supervisory position within a financial organization desired, preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of specialized courses in business related training or experience
- Experience underwriting commercial loans, including commercial real estate loans, agriculture, commercial and industry, and SBA; five years desired
- Professional sales ability required; experience relating to commercial loan products desired
- Experience analyzing local and national economic data to assist setting marketing and pricing strategies
- Familiarity with SBA loan programs and underwriting requirements
- Proficient with standard office equipment, Excel, MS Word, Outlook, computer software, lending software, and department specific programs
