Job Description
Gerhart is looking for CDL Field Technicians with experience in heavy capacity weighing equipment. Operate test truck/rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with heavy capacity systems.
Requirements
- CDL Class B (preferred; we’ll compensate current CDL holders)
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- General mechanical or electrical background
- Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
- Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
- Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
