MILLWRIGHT APPRENTICE

Empowering people who build the future. Gerdau is a major steel manufacturing company with a global presence. We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice to join our team in Whitby, ON.

Requirements

• Registered in an approved Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) – 433A apprenticeship program with Skilled Trades Ontario
• Passed both Level 1 and Level 2 of in-school training OR have a minimum of 4000 hours of documented apprenticeship employment experience
• Ability to work in all areas in the plant and complete the Apprentice Rotation
• Ability to work shift rotation (days/nights) as outlined in the Apprentice Training Schedule
• Mechanical aptitude, with exposure to Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Lubrication, Rotating Equipment
• Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades

Benefits

• Hourly Rate Range: $33.30/hr – $44.10/hr
