As Team Leader Customs at GEODIS, you will lead the customs team and be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all customs activities, including import, export, and transit declarations.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years of demonstrable experience in customs functions, including several years in a coordinating or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of customs legislation and experience with customs warehouses/RTO.
- Experience with both automated and non-automated customs processes.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to motivate and develop the team.
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Willingness to share knowledge, patient, and coaching in interaction.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French and other languages is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel, CargoWise, Stream, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and customs applications such as NCTS, Tarbel, Traces, IDMS, AES, and POUS.
