Teamleader Customs

As Team Leader Customs at GEODIS, you will lead the customs team and be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all customs activities, including import, export, and transit declarations.

Requirements

• At least 5 to 7 years of demonstrable experience in customs functions, including several years in a coordinating or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of customs legislation and experience with customs warehouses/RTO.
• Experience with both automated and non-automated customs processes.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to motivate and develop the team.
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach.
• Willingness to share knowledge, patient, and coaching in interaction.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French and other languages is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel, CargoWise, Stream, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and customs applications such as NCTS, Tarbel, Traces, IDMS, AES, and POUS.
