Job Description
We are looking for a Freight Forwarder Marine Logistics to join our team in Rotterdam-Albrandswaard. As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the operational execution of the entire order management, import and export shipments within marine logistics.
Requirements
- MBO+ work and thinking level
- Knowledge of work and processes in a similar role within the expedition industry
- Thorough knowledge of import and export processes, customs procedures, Incoterms and transport documentation
- Understanding of the financial picture around expeditions (costs, margins, currencies)
- Experience with logistics IT systems (such as transportation management, WHM, PO's, OS&D) and MS Office
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, in word and writing
- Customer-oriented, result-oriented and communicatively strong attitude
- Certifications such as MLV, IATA DGR Awareness of GDP Awareness (or willingness to obtain them)
