Assistant Vice President, SME Underwriting

Genpact is seeking an Assistant Vice President, SME Underwriting to drive growth and develop strategies for the Underwriting practice globally, with a focus on North America. The role will involve managing a portfolio of insurance underwriting products, developing new products and solutions, and participating in business proposals and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Insurance experience in an Underwriting, Product Management, Business Development or similar role.
• University degree or a relevant, commensurate alternative.
• Thorough understanding and expertise in North America Commercial Specialty Insurance Underwriting and its ecosystem of supporting/regulatory organisations.
• Exposure to specialisms such as Lloyd’s market, Delegated Authority Underwriting and Multi-National programmes.
• Exposure to and involvement with AI and Agentic accelerators in the Underwriting segment.
• Evidence of previous involvement in significant transformation programmes.
• Grasp of current market challenges, trends and opportunities
• Experience, ability and comfort engaging with senior level insurance company executives.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to lead transformation programmes including leading and directing client workshops.
• Hands on knowledge of MS Office.
• Prior P&L responsibilities for insurance related products.
• Lead generation

• Competitive salary range: $170,000 to $175,000
