Job Description
GENEX Cooperative is seeking a Reproductive Program Senior Technician in North Central NY to provide specialized Artificial Insemination service and breeding program assistance to members and customers. The role involves selling GENEX products, offering breeding program assistance, and assisting with reproductive management for improved profits and customer satisfaction. This is a 99% dairy emphasis position with a 1% beef emphasis.
Requirements
- Strong dairy background with experience working with dairy cows
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Computer skills required
- Ability to work with herd management software is a plus
