Job Description
GENEX Cooperative is seeking a Reproductive Program Senior Technician in Franklin and Cumberland, PA counties. This role involves providing Artificial Insemination (AI) services, breeding program assistance, and selling GENEX products. The position emphasizes dairy farming, requires strong communication skills, and emphasizes self-motivation and independence. It also involves farm visits and developing new customers.
Requirements
- Strong dairy background with experience working with dairy cows
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person
- Must possess communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn
- Computer skills
- Ability to work with herd management software
