Manufacturing Group Leader - Maintenance - Toledo

The General Motors Manufacturing Group is seeking a Group Leader to lead a team of skilled hourly workers in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and responding to the manufacturing daily plan, managing multiple tasks, and driving accountability through people and processes. The role requires technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• One year of direct team supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader
• Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
• Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict and decision making
• Experience managing, leading people, and addressing performance concerns
• Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems
• Basic computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Word, typing, email, etc.)
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
