Job Description
As a General Assembly Business Manager, you will lead operational strategy and execution for General Assembly, ensuring production goals are met while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role involves championing safety and quality, leading production strategy and execution, driving operational excellence, developing and supporting teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and administering national and local agreements between General Motors and the United Auto Workers Union.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience working in manufacturing or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of all safety absolutes and policies
- Demonstrated ability to implement GMS principles
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex operations
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime and respond to changing priorities
- Proven project management skills and ability to teach others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
