Job Description
This position is for offshift. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and coordinating work of machinist mechanics, ensuring quality and timeliness of work, and resolving design issues through Engineering & Planning.
Requirements
- Plan, organize, and coordinate work of machinist mechanics
- Ensure quality and timeliness of work is completed within budgeted and scheduled parameters
- Assign and status MACPAC work orders/coordinate operational schedule
- Ensure timely movement of material throughout work area, working with the material handling team
- Resolve design issues through Engineering & Planning
- Communicate with other supervisors to help achieve and maintain smooth work flow and high degree of productivity
- Support and adhere to the LS6 Labor Contract
- Use electronic Time Accounting System (WFM) to maintain employees' time and overtime daily
- Maintain 5S safety compliance
- Must be willing to work overtime as required
