Composite Technician III

Composite Technician III position at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. performing non-routine procedures and assisting in the fabrication, curing, and assembly of composite materials.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of related experience
• Verbal communication, reading, and comprehension of written instructions and blueprints
• Basic mathematical calculations
• Use of hand tools such as rollers, paper cutters, scissors, x-acto knives, electric heat gun, and fixtures
• Use of measuring instruments such as scales and protractors and calipers
• Familiarity with common shop tools such as band saws, disk sanders, drill press, wood lathe, etc.
• Respirator certification
• Ability to work in a loud environment, work extended hours, and lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
