Principal Process Engineer

Principal Process Engineer role at Genentech's Hillsboro Oregon campus. Lead and support various aspects of the design, startup, and validation of novel therapies manufacturing processes. Drive seamless transition of complex cell and gene therapy processes from clinical development to commercial-scale manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or related)
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical development
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership without formal authority
• Significant expertise designing and conducting hands-on experimentation in the MSAT process optimization laboratory
• Deep expertise in cGMP environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
