Job Description
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Trading Systems team at Gemini. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead complex technical projects, mentor and develop engineers, and influence engineering culture. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering leaders to ensure alignment on technical and product goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Expertise in backend development
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-team technical projects
- Experience in mentoring and coaching other engineers
- Ability to balance technical trade-offs between speed and quality
