Job Description
Gemini is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in mobile development to join their Platform team. This role focuses on building scalable and secure mobile applications, working cross-functionally with engineering teams, and contributing to the organization’s development practices and culture. The position requires occasional in-person presence in either San Francisco or New York City.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mobile development
- 2+ years with React Native
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in React Native (navigation, lifecycles, state management)
- Debugging, framework migrations, refactoring, and adoption of mobile best practices
- Familiarity with CI processes and automated testing
- Understanding of mobile best practices
- Deep understanding of engineering excellence, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong collaboration and prioritization skills
