Job Description
Gemini is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Onchain team, a vital group responsible for enhancing blockchain-based products and platforms. This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting user-facing distributed systems for scalability, security, and user experience. The team focuses on bridging CSS to ECDSA, solving unique problems across the entire crypto product user journey, and striving for operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is a two-week in-person position in New York City or San Francisco.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development with typed languages such as: Scala, Java or C++
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining large-scale, distributed systems
- Experience with agile development methodologies and a commitment to following best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
