Job Description
Gemini is seeking a highly experienced Head of Compliance to oversee all aspects of the EU compliance program for the company. The role involves developing a compliance strategy, managing regulatory relationships, and ensuring compliance with MiCA and MIFID regulations. Gemini is a rapidly growing cryptocurrency and Web3 platform founded in the United States, aiming to open financial freedom through accessible and secure crypto products.
Requirements
- Oversee all aspects of Gemini’s compliance program for the EU
- Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the regulatory requirements
- Ensure AML/CTF tasks are conducted by both outsourced and local compliance staff
- Track new or revised regulations and implement internal procedures
- Organize regulatory training
- Review compliance policies and procedures
- Promptly escalate issues
- Maintain accurate records
