Job Description
Geeks on Site is a growing IT support and technology installations company seeking experienced POS Installation Technicians in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a 1099 contractor position offering independent work with no guaranteed hours, paying $40-$45/hour on-site. Technicians will install and configure POS systems, verifying device connectivity and collaborating with support teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in field IT, low-voltage installs, or similar
- Familiarity with one or more POS systems (Clover, Square, Verifone, UniPay, etc.)
- Experience with touchscreen or tablet-based POS terminals
- Basic installation tools
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Smartphone with camera/data
