Field Service Technician Opportunities

GEA Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. The role involves supervising the start-up of product lines, performing maintenance procedures, providing warranty work, and offering advanced technical support. The position requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field preferred
• 2+ years of experience with industrial refrigeration equipment
• RETA CARO or CIRO Certification preferred
• Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and major components
• Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems and control schemes
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem-solve and resolve issues
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be a self-starter and driven
• Physical ability to perform tasks (e.g., lifting 75lbs, maneuvering in small spaces)
• Ability to travel up to 90%
• Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record
