Job Description
GCI is seeking a Wireless RF Technician IV to perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of wireless communication equipment. This role is essential for delivering quality service to customers and contributing to network improvements, focusing on microwave, tower-mounted radios, and cellular antennas. The position involves hands-on equipment installation, testing, and repair, as well as providing technical support to other departments.
Requirements
- Basic equipment installations, testing, and Operational Site Acceptance
- Installation, adjustment, advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Wireless RF transmission lines, antennas, and cell site or transport related equipment
- Provide technical support for technicians in remote locations
- Work effectively with other technicians, engineers, and vendors to resolve system problems
- Perform site audits of cell sites and towers
- Maintain compliance by adhering to documentation standards and company policies
