DEC - EC Teacher - Hearing Impaired - Interim

The DEC - EC Teacher - Hearing Impaired - Interim is responsible for planning and presenting instruction to help students with hearing impairments learn subject matter and skills. The employee must hold North Carolina Licensure in the area of Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Requirements

• Ability to consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and interpreters, to create and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms
• Ability to use sound judgment and confidentiality in approaching and working with sensitive and challenging students and situations
