Job Description
Galco Industrial Electronics is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their Repair/Engineering/Field Service department. They are an authorized distributor of industrial, electrical, and electronic components and automation systems. The role involves repairing electronic components, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance.
Requirements
- Repair electronic drives, controllers and pc boards
- Troubleshoot and test electronic components to board level
- Verify repairs using start-up testing procedures
- Install, repair, tests, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures
- Determine method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment
- Analyze failures of electrical equipment
- Perform preventative and reliability centered maintenance activities
- Regularly required to sit, stand and lift up to 50 lbs
