Job Description
We are seeking an experienced shipping professional with strong operational knowledge and customer service skills to join our team in Walvis Bay as a Marine Representative / Ship Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating vessel operations and managing agency-related requirements for vessels calling at Walvis Bay.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' ships agency experience, with strong knowledge of port and vessel operations.
- Experience handling diverse cargo types, bunkers, IPL/OPL calls, and Oil & Gas/Energy projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently at all levels.
- Customer-focused mentality with the ability to work under pressure.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
