Telecom Construction Manager

GAC Enterprises, a well-established telecommunication construction company, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee projects, interpret plans, enforce codes, and build positive relationships with stakeholders. The role involves direct oversight of field teams, budget management, and ensuring safety in all project settings. This is a salaried position with work hours determined by project needs.

Requirements

• Perform a thorough review of incoming projects
• Ability to organize and coordinate workload
• Manage and be present at active GAC jobs site
• Maintain project tracking system (Fieldwire & Data Warehouse)
• Provide oversight, leadership, and mentorship to field team
• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to ensure effective crew and resource allocation
• Actively builds and maintains a positive partnership with GAC departments, customers, subcontractors, municipalities, and inspectors
• Train and develop all field supervision
• Work closely with local utility locating services and utility providers to ensure all utilities are marked
• Ensure all company safety practices are being adhered to in the field
• Coordinate traffic control needs for the project
• Creates and sends out weekly Production Asbuilts
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance
