Job Description
Axios HQ is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to design, ship, and evolve their flagship AI-powered platform for communication. The role involves building and iterating on LLM-powered features, integrating models with various cloud providers, and applying LLMOps best practices. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, passionate about Axios HQ's mission, and values inclusivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1-2 years building LLM/GenAI features
- Strong in Python and TypeScript, comfortable full-stack
- Experience with LangChain (or similar) and vector DBs (FAISS/Pinecone/pgvector)
- Solid REST API chops (FastAPI/Flask) and modern frontend (React + TS)
- Familiar with AI evaluation (RAGAS/DeepEval/FMeval) and data pipelines
- Experience building data pipelines
