Job Description
G&W Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their Raleigh team. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment. The position requires independent work, customer interaction, and adherence to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and their components
- Previous experience working on forklifts, heavy equipment, tractors, or similar machinery
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule
- Comfortable using technology for diagnostics and reporting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
