Job Description
Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company looking for a Business Intelligence Developer (Microsoft) with experience in BI projects, proficiency in Microsoft BI tools, and knowledge in data modeling and data warehouse design.
Requirements
- Academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
- Proven experience in BI projects using Microsoft tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools such as SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Proficiency in query languages such as SQL, DAX, MDX, and M
- Knowledge in data modeling and data warehouse design using solutions like SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Power BI Desktop
- Experience in data integration from various sources, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) using tools like Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, star data models, and snowflake schemas
- Ability to understand and analyze business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions
- Capability to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to end-users
- Microsoft certifications related to BI, such as MCSA or MCSE in Business Intelligence (valued)
- Fluent in English
