Adjunct Instructor - Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

FVI School of Nursing and Technology is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Adjunct Instructor to teach in our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction to students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings, preparing them for success as EMTs and paramedics.

Requirements

• Current certification/licensure as a State of Florida Paramedic
• Associate’s degree in a health-related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• State of Florida EMS Level A & B certifications
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Provider and Instructor certifications
• Minimum of 4 years of field experience as a Paramedic
• Prior teaching or training experience preferred (especially in EMS education)
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
