Job Description
Our client, an industrial giant, is looking for a Financial Controller! You'll work with your colleagues in the Finance department to be the financial conscience of the organization, providing timely and reliable information to support management in optimizing business performance and results.
Requirements
- Planning & Control Cycle. Monthly formation of a Rolling Forecast for the next 15 months
- Safeguarding Financial Regulations. Advising the CFO and Accounting team on the correct application of financial regulations
- Reports and overviews
- Coordinating the monthly closure across the organization within the timeframes and quality standards set by Storaenso (delivery on the second working day) in multiple IT systems.
- Collecting and coordinating data for reports and overviews
- Analyzing profit and loss statements, balance positions, and cash flow (Dutch GAAP & IFRS)
- Discussing deviations with management, advising on accounting issues
- Assembling and coordinating the year-end dossier, providing explanations for year-end statements
- Preparing the final report for holding and parent company
- Preparing liquidity forecasts
- Setting up the monitoring system
- Keeping track of financial regulations
- Highlighting relevant developments for management, advising on follow-up
- Implementing new financial regulations in the business operations
