Job Description
FutureCare is seeking a Dietary Aide/Porter to contribute to the Food & Hospitality Department and ensure proper delivery of nutritional services to residents. This role involves following proper food sanitation, food handling, and safe serve policies, alongside assisting the Clinical Food Service Director. FutureCare emphasizes a supportive work environment, recognition, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull food carts and other food utility supplies up to 50lbs
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work with residents and staff in a respectful manner
